Press Release Dental Sleep Symposium

Carl Feghali, DDS, owner of Grand Junction Dentist, Grand Junction, CO, has recently returned from Las Vegas, NV where he has received extensive training in the treatment of sleep apnea in the dental office. The seminar was attended by dentists and their staff from all over the United States.
A practicing dentist, Todd Morgan DMD, from Encinitas, CA, presented scientific and clinical aspects of oral appliance therapy, while Rose Nierman RDH, provided information on medical billing for sleep apnea oral appliances. According to Ms. Nierman, “dentists can help patients who are not able to wear a CPAP. The great news is that many health insurance policies routinely cover oral appliances for sleep apnea”.
Obstructive sleep apnea can lead to heart disease, sudden cardiac death, high blood pressure, stroke, diabetes, depression, memory loss and other serious health concerns. Recent studies have shown that many snorers and sleep apnea patients are more likely to tolerate an oral appliance as opposed to CPAP. Oral appliances are similar to removable orthodontic mouth guards and have been shown to be effective in managing sleep apnea and snoring. A properly trained and equipped dental office can frequently provide relief from snoring and sleep apnea in a few visits.
Dr. Feghali is excited to help patients suffering from snoring and sleep apnea. This technology can change lives and even help save relationships! To contact Dr. Feghali, call (970) 245-9546 or visit
